Fit & Well – Avoid the mid afternoon low
Does this sound like you? Do you struggle to lose weight? Carry excess weight around your midsection? Have excessive sugar and carbohydrate cravings? Low energy levels? High blood levels and cholesterol?

Insulin is the hormone the pancreas secretes to convert glucose (sugar) into cellular energy. A classic sign that you may be resistant to insulin is your mid afternoon low. Your mid afternoon low could also be due to hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) which is a result of your body not converting glucose into energy efficiently enough. A well recognised disturbance of insulin metabolism greatly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease and Diabetes Type 2. More often than not, it is bought on by an inadequate diet and/or poor lifestyle. Welcome
Winter has truly arrived. Coughs and colds are a plenty! If your regular child care arrangements or schools prefer that your sick child remains at home, yet you have to attend work, remember that you can DIAL-AN-ANGEL even at short notice to step in and help you out.
I have just returned from a visit to the new premises of our Adelaide Office. They had an ‘Office Welcoming’ evening where I had the pleasure of meeting quite a few of their Angels. What a fabulous and committed group of men and women they have working as Angels. They are a credit to our Adelaide team and the DIAL-AN-ANGEL name!
We are continually recruiting new candidates for care, nursing, domestic cleaning and child care. We are experiencing a high demand for our Registered Nurses and Attendant Care at this time particularly in and around the Sydney Metropolitan Area.
