After 42 years DIAL-AN-ANGEL looks towards a bright future

On March 15th, DIAL-AN-ANGEL celebrated 42 years of providing quality services to tens of thousands of Australian families. Founded in 1967, DIAL-AN-ANGEL grew quickly from a one person, one-telephone office to 11 offices nationwide, four of which are franchised. More than 50 full-time office staff are employed who are able to call upon over 10,000 registered Angels.
DIAL-AN-ANGEL provides fully screened Angels to supply domestic cleaning, housekeeping, cooking, childcare, nursing, companion and convalescent care, carers for the frail and the severely disabled, handyman-gardeners, home entertaining assistants, corporate crèche staff and pet care - and welcomes the challenge of unusual requests.
"DIAL-AN-ANGEL is one of the few home and family care agencies which is able to provide in-home services nationally. Its clients are the largest cross-section of people imaginable - from young mothers to the terminally ill. So who are the Angels? They come from all walks of life but are primarily caring, skilled and highly competent workers. Some are young mothers with children at school who have a few hours to spare; houseproud homemakers; active, youthful, caring "grans"; care-workers; nurses; final year Uni students studying social work, medicine, physiotherapy, and nursing.
"We are always seeking to register new Angels and when most companies are laying off people we are still keen to take on more Angels! They can be mums who have raised their children, active grandmothers who want to stay that way mentally and physically, and granddads, who enjoy driving and working in the garden and around the home. The Angels come in all age groups, shapes and sizes, but the one thing they all have in common is that they really are the best!" boasts Danielle.
